To blacklist a URL follow these simple steps:
- Login to JumpSeat to reveal the application landing page, or click the Home button from the main menu
- Select an application to manage by clicking the application name, “View Guides”, or “View Pathways”
- Click the URL Blacklisting menu link from the main navigation on the left hand side
- Click “Add a URL” or press SHIFT + N
- Enter the “URL” to be blacklisted
- Enter a “Description” so that people know the reasons the URL has been blacklisted
- Prefix matching (optional) allows you to block subdomains e.g. URL https://google.com will block: https://mail.google.com, https://drive.google.com, https://something.google.com
- Suffix matching allows you to match anything after e.g. URL https://example.com/blog will block: https://example.com/blog-2015 https://example.com/blog/johndoe
- Click “Save” or press ENTER
