What is a Role?
JumpSeat Roles allow Administrators to define permissions of other JumpSeat Users of the Application, and define which guides JumpSeat End Users may use in a hosted application.
There are two available default roles in each Application:
1. Application Administrator
2. Application User (Guest User)
By default, a JumpSeat End User is automatically provisioned to the Application User Role, unless
1. A JumpSeat Administrator manually updates the End User’s Role to a custom Role
2. A JumpSeat Administrator bulk imports End Users with pre-defined custom Role
By default, guides created for an Application hosted by JumpSeat (your.jumpseat.io) are available to NO Application Users of the Application, unless
1. A JumpSeat Administrator aligns guides to Custom Roles.
2. A JumpSeat Administrator aligns users to Custom Roles
