JumpSeat Administrators may import users into JumpSeat, as one method of manually provisioning new JumpSeat End Users.
To import users, a JumpSeat .user file or a completed .csv user template file must be completed. To access a .user file or .csv user template, see this article.
- Download a user file template from the User page in the JumpSeat Home area.
- The required fields for the .csv import template are first name, last name, email address, role and Host URL. You can assign user to roles through the import, as well as edit the first and last name. Note that nothing can be deleted via the import, only added and edited.
- Click the “Import Users” button at the top of user page
- Import your file, and the table will refresh with the new user. You will receive an pop-up message if some fields form your import template are missing and need to be reviewed before import.
