Pathways are groups of guides that relate to a specific topic or task within an application. JumpSeat pathways direct learners through a range of e-learning activities and allows them to build knowledge progressively in a single area of interest or topic. Developing pathways for learners allows you to help them quickly understand what tasks are related to a larger, broad topic as well as the application at large. Pathways also allow learners to understand the best possible sequence of learning.
Creating pathways within Jumpseat is simple and straightforward. You may create any number of pathways for a single application, and assign any previously created guide to a pathway. It is important to note that guides may exist in more than one pathway at a time, and a pathway won’t appear in the flight deck unless it has at least one guide in it. You may pre-create pathways and populate them with guides later, or create all of the guides related to an application, and then create and add guides in one step.
